Rev. Marvin Powell

Rev. Marvin Powell was born and raised in Madison County. He attended Madison County Public School and graduated from Rosa Scott High. He attended Jackson State University and completed coursework in the field of Zoology.

Rev. Powell joined Cade Chapel in 1989 and has been active in working with the Youth and the Christmas Cantata. He was called to preach in 2003 and ordained on May 26, 2013. Rev. Powell currently serves as the Minister of Congregational Care at Cade Chapel. His mission is to "bring God's word to God's people."

Rev. Powell is married to Sis. Bridget Powel and they have 4 children (Sherrie, Tracee, Mequilla and Marvin, II).
